DZP Wildlife Art Competition and Exhibition 2010

In association with internationally renowned wildlife artist, Pip McGarry.

Closing date for entries: 8 th May

Private Viewing: 28 th May

Exhibition: 29 th May to 5 th June

Eligibility: Persons over 17 years

Fees: £10 per entry

Maximum entries per artist: 5

- British Wildlife

- All Other Wildlife

Medium:

2D only. Computer designed images; laser copies, prints are not eligible.

Outside edge should be no more than 40 inches any side (includes frame).

Copyright must be property of the artist.

Delivery and Judging:

Works must be delivered to DZP, Sunday 23 rd May between 9am and 3pm .

Works must be collected from DZP, Sunday 6 th June between 9am and 3pm .

Whilst great care will be taken, DZP cannot accept liability for accidental damage. Artists are therefore responsible for insuring their artwork.

Judging will take place prior to the private viewing.

Fifty selected pictures will be exhibited at DZP from Saturday 29 th May until Saturday 5 th June.

Works will be available for sale at the private viewing and throughout the exhibition. A 30% commission on all sales will go to DZP.

Prizes:

There will be a prize awarded for each of the category winners and a special prize for the overall Dartmoor Zoo Wildlife Art competition winner at the private viewing on Friday 28 th May. Details of prizes to follow.

Details of Entries: Size should be in inches and measure the outside edge of the frame.

Titles should be no more than five words.

Stewarding - Helpers Wanted!

If you would like to contribute some time to assist with the setting up and stewarding of the exhibition, please complete the following and return it with your entry form.

Please indicate any dates and times you would be willing to help with the exhibition. ‘Tea makers' and ‘gophers' are also very welcome! Your help would be very much appreciated.
