Gloucester Weekend Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th July 2010 10.00am - 5.00pm The two workshops being held on Saturday are with Peter Partington and Sue Beeson. Peter's workshop will be on drawing and Sue will be showing us how to model in clay. Twasi members have the option of joining either workshop for the whole day or spending half a day in both workshops. The AGM will follow the workshops and Peter Partington will be giving a talk in the evening Sunday will start with a critique - members are invited to bring along 2 pictures for the critique with details of title, medium and price as they will be on show throughout the weekend for visitiors to Nature in Art to see and purchase if they are available to buy. The critique will be followed by the film 'Age of Stupid' starring Pete Postlethwaite. Click here for details of the film 'Age of Stupid' After lunch Twasi members are free to either visit the exhibition at Nature in Art, paint or sketch in the grounds or just socialise. The Ken Stroud Founders Award An Award presented and named by the Central Council in respect of the unstinting work of Ken Stroud in founding the Society. This award will be presented for the best interpretation of British Wildlife. The judges looked for originality of idea and empathy with the chosen subject.
