2018 AGM and Members Weekend at Nature in Art
A great big TWASI thank you to Simon, Jenny and the staff at Nature in Art for letting us loose in the education block for yet another really great weekend thoroughly enjoyed by all those who attended. It was very pleasing for us old hands to welcome many new members to their first TWASI event.
Thank you too to our workshop tutors Mandi Baykaa-Murray (lino cut) and Gregory Wellman (alkyds and water soluble oil paints).
On the Sunday the members were treated to wonderful day with the internationally renowned guest artist Jon Pointer who kept everyone entertained throughout the whole day. Jon a past member of TWASI really enjoyed talking to and making friends with everyone, generously giving us pearls of artistic wisdom and knowhow and inspiring all during the critique in the afternoon, and would you believe this was the first talk he has ever undertaken he kept everyone enthralled.
