We are always happy to welcome new members

All members of The Wildlife Art Society International will receive 2 copies a year of the ‘On the Wildside’ magazine.

All members have the opportunity to exhibit work in all the exhibitions, are able to join in with the societies events and visits, the Members Weekend which is held annually at Nature in Art and any workshops, details of which are sent by regular newsletters and listed on the website.

Members will have the opportunity to display one picture on the members page with a link to their website if applicable and their contact details.

Members will have the opportunity to advertise on the website any exhibitions their artwork is entered into.

The Society imposes no selection or submission procedures for new members.

Membership is open to all artists and photographers whose work includes wildlife as the prime subject, whether it be animals, birds, fish, reptiles, insects, wild flowers or wild landscapes.

Domestic animals including horses and other semi-domesticated or feral animals, or cultivated plants are not eligible for submission to any Society events or exhibitions.

There are three categories of membership all of which are full voting members;
Fellow, Member and Associate Member.

Fellow members are professional artists whose main income is from wildlife art and are allowed to use the designatory letters, FWASI. Council may also award honorary fellowships in recognition of outstanding service to wildlife art or to the Society.

Members are semi-professional or amateur artists who wish to exhibit their work with the Society.

Associate Members are persons who wish to support the work of the Society but do not wish to exhibit their work with the Society.

Membership runs for one year from the date of joining the society and is renewable annually. Membership will automatically lapse if not renewed by the due date.

Associate £10 not allowed to exhibit at the Annual exhibition but allowed to take part in all other society activities and you will receive a copy of the Bi annual magazine ‘On the Wildside’.

Junior (under 16) Student (under 25) student and under 25’s are allowed to exhibit.

Concessions: Senior citizens may deduct £2.50 from the above fees. If payment is made by Standing Order £2.50 may also be deducted from the above fees.

There is a one off registration fee of £10 to be added when you join which is non refundable.
